
Marina Riviera Nayarit is located in the town of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, in the municipality of Bahia de Banderas, State of Nayarit, Mexico. It is a privileged area sheltered by a tranquil cove in the north shore of the bay.
Banderas Bay is located on Mexico’s western coast, on the Pacific Ocean, bordering part of the states of Nayarit and Jalisco.
Specifically, the Banderas bay is located between parallels 20° 24’ and 20° 45’ North and Meridians 105° 14’ and 105° 42’ West. Its extremes are Cabo Corrientes to the south and Punta de Mita to the north. The Ameca River in the center of the bay is the border between the states of Nayarit and Jalisco. The Nayarit portion of the bay stretches from the Ameca River North to Punta de Mita, while the Jalisco portion goes from the Ameca River south to Cabo Corrientes.
The bay’s shoreline expands over three municipalities, those of Cabo Corrientes and Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco and Bahia de Banderas in Nayarit. They offer a great diversity of ecosystems with countless natural attractions, home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna, where lots of land and water activities can be practiced.
